Alot of those riffs really do remind me of this. Someone mentioned that project a handful of pages back and I was stoked when I got around to checking them

Holy shi*... I just jammed this for the first time during a night walk in the country fields, no lights, and it's been a crazy experience... The repetitive segments seemed to last forever only to evolve deeper into madness and despair... I need to give this more spins but my first imprssion is very very good. Gave me Ludicra vibes, which is a great thing.

I think I read a comment from someone once who implied--jokingly or not?--that the woman from Ludicra had some influence on this band or wrote some of it. I kinda doubt it but I suppose you could msg Gossard about it and ask lol.

Sorry for the double post but this is such an incredible album... It's like nothing Ive ever heard. Maybe Krallice and Ludicra mixed with the weirdest side of blut aus nord is the closest thing that comes to my mind. The structures are weird in a very good way and the overall atmosphere is unnerving. It casts pain and despair... It's got its flaws but it's uniqueness and that release date makes me want to give it a 5

there really wasn't anything like it before it, maybe some dsbm but for the most part this was a unique approach to the second-wave sound; all those The Fucking Champs influences really helped it come from a totally different angle.
