unless they fall off horribly on disc 3 and 4, this is up there with my favourite of their work and I'd say essential to own for the first 2 discs alone. starts off pretty well but once they hit '83 or so it just flat out rules, song after song. assume I'm into the 90s period now, hearing Iceblink Luck. snuck ahead and heard Alice last night and loved it. bit of different sound
she's the most effective vocalist I've ever heard I think in terms of layering vocals and hitting on different ways to sing. only Marvin Gaye comes to mind as competition

It rules, though I haven't listened to it nearly as much as this. Wild Nothing - Nocturne comes pretty close to this, but the really high points on this album like Frou Frou, t/t, and Fotzepolitic are unmatched for me
