@danny: Yeah his vocals are rather poor. One of the most talented guitarists of his generation though.

@KJSwantko: Jam his debut with Electric Sun. It is heavenly.

For me it's between this and In Trance. Lovedrive and Blackout are up there with their best too but I've been leaning more towards the Roth era recently.

Good luck with that. It's one of the hardest solos ever recorded. It's not just the speed and the accuracy that make it sound so incredible but also the wah that is been thrown in the middle.

There are some tricky bits, but honestly it wasn't that bad. Because the effects on the solo aren't over the top, I just learned it note for note without using any effects. I can imagine that throwing on the wah/filter would make it more challenging.
