I'm honestly down to hear every second of unreleased material/verses DOOM has in the vault. Out of the gang of material he has there's nothing I would say is weak and with the way he strings things together I could listen to even his weakest verses all day

"Honestly I’d be down with a post-humous madvillain album. Madlib would be an excellent person to handle unheard doom verses. There have been a lot of recent post-humour hip hop albums lately that have been handled really well. Phife Dawg and Gang Starr for instance, really great tributes."
I'd be down if there was one example of a posthumous hip hop album that's great. They all trash and at best mid. Just leave it be

There's a Gibbs hate train all the sudden? What. Pinata and Bandana both go hard. I saw Gibbs in concert last summer, and he killed it.

Surprise surprise a rapper said something about flat earth or anti vax or whatever and everybody got up in arms pretending that hip hop was ever a a moral/intellectual enterprise filled with role models to begin with. Gibbs is dope

Ok ok I jumped in way too deep at little prompting with no context haha. There is an anti Gibbs brigade out there that is mad about this stuff, which I think is silly given the grander context of what rap has/does illustrate (d). I also find a lot of inspiration and intellect in hip hop, but looking at the genre at large that wheat most certainly comes with chaff.
I am on my phone and busy and have now dug a hole that I refuse to defend in the immediate future
