Yeah I kinda wish they'd kept the full version. And also that Scream hadn't been relegated to b-side status

Yeah you can prob compile an album's worth of oddball Slipknot tracks from the first three lps.
1. Iowa
2. Circle
3. Prosthetics
4. Tattered & Torn
5. Scissors
6. The Virus of Life
7. Danger Keep Away (full version)

When someone that hates metal tells you that Duality is catchy you know they were doing sth right.

Yeah the instrumentals here are awesome, intro to Opium being one of the best examples
I just think that for whatever reason, Corey's harsh vocals here sound insanely weak to what they usually are. Even their last album, he sounded like his usual monster self.

Apparently he didn’t like a lot of the vocal takes for this one but Rick Rubin used them anyway.

He blew his voice out during this time, hardly surprising.
IOWA will always be my fave Slipknot album but this is their most mature effort by far.

Agreed Pleb. Iowa's still my favorite as well (with All Hope is Gone not too far behind), but this one is great too. Probably the biggest grower in their discog for me as well
