I still love this album, probably one of the first five albums I bought (hard to believe, I know) as I only just got into metal (and music generally) last year, luckily I skipped all the nu-metal crap that you usually listen to before getting into the proper stuff :p

Good album. Nice driving music, too. The production annoys me a bit though, especially the drums. It just sounds too "clean," I guess.

great album great review..sadly you never hear these guys on sirius..not that it really matters but this is the kind of band i would expect to have an impact there

lol i'm guessing you already know but it's satellite radio..the only widespread metal radio station i know of with potentially a lot of influence at least on casual listeners..they play some good stuff and they have a fun "beyond the pit" show which is pretty brutal..they also have ian christie do "bloody roots" programs..he wrote "sound of the beast" and he does some really great work

too bad i guess..satellite radio is cool because it works everywhere so if you are driving long distance you don't have to flip around if you need a break from your cd/mp3 collection..they have no commercials and no censored lyrics which is nice..they only have one really metal channel but it's pretty good..you get a lot of megadeth and pantera of course but i have heard a lot of less mainstream material and they play a lot of old stuff..
