Absolutely. Especially the transition from Nighttime Birds to How to Measure a Planet? is amazing. First time I checked How to Measure I didn't how how to feel but at the same time I couldn't help loving it.

Yeah it's insane. First record I heard by them was Home, and then I checked How To Measure A Planet? some years later. Totally blew me away. How they successfully make all these styles their own with so much restraint is really quite something. It never feels forced.

Saw Anneke live a few days ago and she did a beautiful rendition of Leaves. Even got to meet her and talk a bit about her work on the upcoming Devin album.

That's awesome, man. Got to meet her back in back in 1999 and she was a sweetheart.

Awesome, love how she hasn't 'forgotten' her years with the band (of course not in the literal sense). She played Strange Machines last year when I saw her too. Was perfect.

Was also fun that she knew the town and cities we came from since she's also dutch and from the same province. Definetly recommend going there if you can, it really is a treat.

Yeeaah! They totally are. They've got great feeling for atmosphere. How To Measure A Planet might be my fave album ever, just for that reason. So very intoxicating.

I'm super happy you like them man, that happens when a band is dear to you.

Yeah what Asdfp said. They experiment a lot with their sound, not quite as much as Ulver do but that gives an idea.

They don't get better than this imo. Strange Machines and Eleanor are such an awesome one-two punch to start the album.
