Record is excellent, Oasis might have won the Battle of Britpop but Blur won the war.

Hell yeah, it's Blur discussion time.

I like this record a lot more than I did when I first went through their discography. Jubilee, Trouble In The Message Center, and London Loves are all jams. Clover Over Dover is crazy underrated.

Yeah same as, didn't fully appreciate the scope of the record when I first listened to it. Gotta give Alex James some serious props for some tasty bass lines throughout especially on Girls & Boys. This Is A Low, Clover Over Dover and Magic America are such jams.

Definitely need to re-listen to this one, 3.5 seems too low. Anyways 13 is still the best Blur album

ill spin that within the week for sure

not sure why its taken me so long to get into their britpop stuff. at first nothing from them did anything for me outside of think tank, and then the two preceeding it grew hard on me. now i guess the britpop stuff is starting to click as well

Parklife is probably my favourite blur album. I don't really like there later stuff much at all. Half of 13 is good but everything after that just sounds boring to me.

I'm a huge Blur fan, but I've just sat and listened to this album and I find it too gimmicky. Love Clover Over Dover and Tracy Jacks though. 13 spanks this into another dimension - never their best, not by a long shot!

I’d love to stay here and be normal but then it’s just so overrated
