Give Heart Attack and Lips some love guys. The production on Lips is immense

Lips is a blissful song, but doesn't really stick imo

Seriously though, I haven't listened to PT in ages except the occasional song; Oceansize and Anathema are so much better

I listened to Frames a few times and it's a 3.5 so far. Anathemas last 2 are goood, but STEVEN WILSON. I love how organic the last 2 Anathemas sound.

Haven't yet checked out the older Anathema albums, not really impressed with the recent two albums (it's okay, but i think it was one of your reviews johnny that convinced me the older stuff is better)

Been listening to a LOT of oceansize lately, but mainly "Everyone into position", not the other two higher-rated ones

uhoh...another disagreement

Everyone Into Position rules, so fair play

Anathema's most recent two are great (WHBWH is superawesome), but Judgement and Eternity slay them both (haven't heard Alt 4 tho), and lolyeah it was my Judgement review that convinced you

Hell yeah you don't like latest Anathema. I think Judgements overrated, but I guess I need to be in the right mood ot appreciate it properly. Make it Right is terrific though.

If by "lacking" you mean every song had the same structure and all built up to similar climaxes, then we agree!

I thought it was fine, just had that problem of lots of songs reminding me of each other and dat makes me sad.

Yeah, the first two and Internal Landscapes absolutely nailed it, but everything else sounded like a poor copy
