Pointless chatter aside, this album is fairly good. But it's just bog standard death metal in all honesty. Nothing remarkable.

Ye this album is standard. I mean I love the first track and I dont mind Prometherion, but then through like the 2nd half I'm like "this is so unnecessary". It's repeated numerous times just to seem "in yo face" and that's not what I look for really. I think it's just some sort of shock value Behemoth use, or at least as something to make them stand out and embody some sort of pretension.

Post counts are dumb 'yall. Tuesday. Who else is going to get Nile and Behemoth in the same purchase?

i don't know what you guys are talkin about. The melody this band uses is unique, and the amount of time and work they put into their shit is remarkable. I haven't even heard this album yet, it's not out, so I doubt it's as bad as everyone is sayin, but life is full of suprises...

I like this cd, definitely more than a 2.5 rating. So far though it's not as good as Demigod. If you're just getting into Behemoth, I'd check out that one.

Oh and I'm definitely in the "love it" category with Warrel Dane's vox, for the record!

The review will be up in about an hour. Neither album is bad, they're both just stupid, lame and boring. Nile is worse because the solos are horrible, the drumming is annoying and the album title is about a Roman god's cock. Seriously.

This album is pretty good. The sound falls between ZKC and Demigod. I'm a little dissapointed they didn't create something completely new and original but it still sounds good.

All right. I give up. The more I listen to this, the more frustrated and annoyed I get. The biggest problem for me is that I feel that Nergal is trying too hard to be brutal. It's over the top. Nergal's vocals, while aren't as terrible like in Demigod, is still shitty. Inferno sounds like he was told to just bash and go as fast as possible. The songs start off decently but seem rushed somehow. Definitely worse than Demigod overall, and even then that sucked.
