Good review, I like what I've heard so far. I'm just a little put off by the song names, but if the songs are good then it doesn't really matter methinks.

This is a very good album that surprised me so much because I figured the album would be pitiful. But you're staff and that bums me out because I wanted to be first to review it...

yeah, pomp does suck. i always wonder why bands tack sucky songs on the end of an album. just let it close on a strong note, i say



oh and no worries about me having the review up first. you can have yours up second or whatever. plenty of reviews are going up for this i'm sure, as people seem to have some pretty strong opinions about it. don't get shut out of the race. i'll be looking forward to reading your take on it.

different to their last few abums

but good

"united states" is the bs=est track imo

but i like"doomsday clock" and "starz" aswell

wanan hear it, but will it be the same without the original band? James Iha co-wrote a lot of good songs with Billy Corgan so it could be lacking a certain style. Also i love Melissa literally. d'Arcy is cool too. However the lead off single was pretty cool, nothing new though.

Excellent review, even though I have not heard the entire album yet. Tarantula is an aweful song (sounds like it belongs on a B-side album or something), and the Pumpkins went out on a horrible note with their last album. Im not really expecting much if the album sounds anything like the single.

I can't say I'm looking forward to this. I heard they are doing specific releases for different places (walmart, target, regular stores) which is lame (like one or two song differences).
