This album has some real catchy songs. The only thing about the band now is that it's more like a Billy Corgan solo career just with the same band name.

Nah his solo career was way worse

he never really had a solo career just 1 album that he deflected attention from right away by literally announcing the "reformation" of the Pumpkins the day it came out, then some other record he put out right before, you guessed it, reforming the Pumpkins a second time

Adore was a pretty good solo record tho

& anyway, it was always kinda the Billy Corgan show wasn't it? Siamese is practically all him, aside from the drums

Yeah it’s really not bad. Just a bit disappointing as their “comeback” album.

I really don't know what people were expecting, after the past 6-ish years of Bill Corgan by that point

I say this as a big fan of Machina & Adore

Then again, I guess the fact that people are *still* more or less expecting him to pull out another Siamese Dream or something makes that a bit less surprising

the title track off this is one of my favorite Pumpkins songs. shame it was relegated to bonus track status.

Stellar is head & shoulders the best track of this era for me, followed by Ma Belle. & yeah, title track ain't bad either

Coincidentally, these were all tracks left off the album itself!

I think it’s unfairly hated on but it’s certainly not as good as Gish.

Dang, lol. I might need to give Gish a few more listens though. It just seems like every time I have listened to it, it hasn't grown on me at all. I'm not saying it's a bad album or anything, it just isn't in my top 5 SP albums. I just seem to enjoy this more.

Gish is overrated imo but it’s def better than this.

Jimmy's drums and Corgan's leads keep this a solid 3 at least
