Wow I'm the first person in over a year to comment this.

Anyway, really good album. A bit of a lull overall in the middle between Pillars and Guitar and Video Games with some highlights, but not much beats 1, 9, and 10.

EC, it's because the album is so good, there are little words for it.

"try to smile as they devour our youth" is such a great line.

I'm 410% sure that's guitar.

No way. Listen to it. That is the bass. You can tell because the two guitar come in after with the same bass line backing the guitars.

I think Two Promises should be a recommended track. Very well written review. I loved Diary so this album was a bit different for me. However, this is a good example of how bands can change their sounds.

I have Diary and I absolutely love it.

After reading this review, you actually encouraged me to get some more of Sunny Day!
So I got this album and I am now listening.
Amazing review! Thanks!

This took me much longer to like than Diary, but it's now working its magic.

I'd go as far as to say that The Shark's Own Private F*** would be my favorite track. The rise and fall of Jeremy's voice is breathtaking.

Seeing these guys in ~two weeks c:

This is so different from Diary, but it's just so good in a completely different way. SDRE rock so much.

This has a lot more of a summery feel to it than Diary. A lot more up-beat, too. I dig.
