The Amen Corner is one of Opeth's best songs. That opening riff section changes it up just at the right times to keep it interesting, unlike a lot of Opeth's other lengthy heavy instrumental sections.

JT understands me. Herein lies one of the reasons why I prefer the first 3 'Peth albums to most of their later work by a wide margin.
Heritage rules though, so it's the one that doesn't fall within that wide margin range.
I need to listen to Damnation more though, and see where it stands there.
