I finally gave this album a full listen, and most of it is quite good.
Favourites were Prayer, Remember and Darkness. The rest was all pretty good too.

I really am anxiously awaiting Ten Thousand Fists, even though the title doesn't make much sense to me yet, hopefully the album itself will clear that up.

Are these guys still nu-metal? I've noticed all the track names are just one word. What's with that?

not a bad album, they have definetly improved from the sickness.

This album was great, but I'm still highly anticipating the release of Ten Thousand Fists. I've DLed a couple of the songs, and I was impressed. I'm definitely gonna buy it.

many people have called them nu-metal. Thier first album was. But they are a metal-inspired rock band now. They might sound metal and thats because they are ment to sound like metal, but the song tempos, the volume, and Draiman's more mature singing are all reminiscent of rock.

Ten thousand fists is supposed to be symbolic of the bands mission with this album: to inspire their fans to unite and rise together against whatever opposes them. Or something of that nature, according to the official site. In case you haven't noticed by the songs, especially Deify, the album is very against bush and his war, Draiman himself says on the official site he is fiercely against a war where our soldiers die senselessly and needlessly, and he comments on how Bush is such a fitting image for the track Deify because of how his supporters practically idolize him. This Message Edited On 09.22.05

maybe liberate could have been better if they just used something more poetic and descritive... and less middleschool esque than muthafúcker. i think most of these numetal bands cuss just because they think its cool. and its lame.
and the album was decent
edit: that was about the MuthaMutha part, in case you no be understanding. This Message Edited On 09.24.05

disturbed at their best, i think this is a piece of art...darkness and liberate are incredibly deep and powerfull songs, incredible drum playing...the only problem with disturbed would be the bass, you never hear any bass, unless everybody stops playing...but anyways disturbed is one of the greatest bands out there...disturbed rules and so does believe

Ah yes, Believe, the album believed (no pun intended) to be the greatest disturbed album by many a fan. I personally do not see what the fuss is about :S. It has a few good songs but nothing to match the likes of Droppin Plates and Down with the Sickness, although Liberate is a really good song. I dont know what it is i dont like about his really. Could be becuase i havent listened to the whole thing - any suggestions on good songs from this album? Oh and also good review but u should have some recommendations. I also prefer a trakc by track coz its easier to pick out the bits u want to read and to see what the tracks worth getting this album for are.
Anwyway good review - a 3.5 from me.

While I would rather drown in my own fecal matter than listen to disturbed for an extended amount of time, I will say that Dan Donegan is a good guitar player. He just needed to get off his ass and do some solos

Disturbed Kicks *** like no other. The "Prayer" video was sweet, and "Liberate" is the best ***ing song in the world to rock out to. 10/10 in my book
