Given Up is a childish tune, but the instrumentation and the vocal work are respectable. Besides it has a notorious catchiness.

Except it's not catchy at all, it's terrible.
I don't like it either but props to vocalist(forgot his name. Chester?) for that 18 second long scream, that's pretty awesome, I've only heard 2 screams that were longer(Maynard James Keenan in 'The Grudge' from 'Lateralus' which lasts almost 30 seconds and Lord Worm in 'Open Face Surgery' from 'Blasphemy Made Flesh' which lasts around 35 seconds).
