question. is BIBLE (basic instructions before leaving earth) criticizing religion or is he expressing his beliefs. Because in the verse he says "For years religion did nothing but divide

The basic instructions before leaving earth" but on the second verse he says "deal with the truth, and build with the youth

And teach my son as he kneels on the stoop

Son, life is a pool of sin, corrupted wth foolish men

and women with wicked minds, who build picket signs

to legalize abortion, the evil eye distortion".

great album btw.

And dropped a jewel like Solomon, but never followed men
cause if you do your brain is more hollow than

That the preacher had souped up with lies
Had me cooped up lookin at loot, butt, and thighs
Durin the service, he swallowed up the poor
And after they heard this, they wallowed on the floor

I think GZA embraces religious infrastructure, but when it comes to the heavily edited, inaccurate, opinionated law or code preached by its followers he is indifferent.

look what i just found on lastfm ...

=== Reasons NOT to listen to RAP (RnB , Hip-hop) ===

1. Rap Music is oxymoron
2. Rap music is primitive, made from studio cliches, requires no talent or music knowledge
3. Rap lyrics are primitive, promote partying / fucking / killing in a language of a third grader.
4. Listening to Rap turns you into a fucking idiot!!!

Rap vs Nu Metal
Nu Metal is better than rap in at least two ways
1. Meaningful lyrics
2. Real music

Clarification regarding "all RAP sucks"
- mainstream rap is fucking shitty
- there are SOME rap artists that are ok
- these few artists cannot justify an overall shitty RAP genre

how fucking retarded and naive ...typical metalhead user setting up a "fuck rap and hip hop group

I find comfort in the fact that whenever people say or write things like that, 99.9 percent of the time its about rappers like Yung Berg, Bow Wow, David Banner, etc.
