Chris Adler was on another level here

Adler currently works at The Home Depot on Broad Street in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia.
The end of his wiki page sure is wild.

Man, nothing wrong with an honest job, but damn that’s kinda grim if true.

"But yeah, there’s really no reason to go past Sacrament (or even this) for anything but the Superfan"
I would say Wrath, but even Resolution is a bit underrated

Absolutely nothing wrong with a service job but you’d think his Lamb of God days would have made it so he didn’t have to work one. I honestly thought they were pretty big.

you'd think he'd be doing session drum work for people, or maybe a normal 9-5 is just more manageable who knows. I think it was back after Randy was in that Czech prison he mentioned that on a touring year he made like 100K a year, it's not terribly a lot for a musician now.

Yeah he'd probably make good money off session work and clinics and such. But I also get not wanting it be your career 24/7 if that's the case.

Maybe he got tired of playing drums altogether.

Meanwhile, the average Jazz musician doesn't stop until he is either too old or dies.

i mean touring back then probably wasn't as hard, and they actually paid you too

Peter Brotzmann played some shows before his passing the last year at 82 years old whereas a musician such as Roscoe Mitchell is still playing live gigs to this day.

Album holds up extremely well. Omerta is so fuckin sick

Their insistence of opening shows with Omerta for a couple years here recently kinda soured me on that song, but yeah I still adore this.
I imagine Chris is a shoe-in for pretty much any open position if he wants it. Kinda surprised his name wasn't thrown around for Slipknot. Maybe he just wants to be home with the family at this point.

album goes hard as fuck. Truly a peak for this band, they slowly started going downhill after this but I'm not shocked, it would be very tough to top this
