i really like this album. I used to think that kill 'em all was the best album of thrash ever, but then i found a copy of RIP. It just made Kill Em All look like St Anger.
tornado of souls is my favourite song off this album.

Yeah that songs pretty sweet. Great guitars and a great vocal melody from Dave Mustaine. Holy Wars... The Punishment Due, Hangar 18, Tornado of Souls and Rust In Peace...Polaris are probably my favourite songs on that album. The rest of the songs are either good or mediocre as in the case of Dawn Patrol and Lucretia.

Very good review, one of the best. But I think that you should have given some credit to David's bassplaying in Dawn Patrol. My personal favorites of this album is Tornado of Souls, Five Magics and Lucretia.

I KNEEL before this album. as with everything megadeth released, It's amazing. The guitarwork, the speed, the thrashiness. It's done to a perfection. Some of my favorite solos are in this album...from "Tornado of Souls", "Holy Wars" and "Hangar 18". not one weak track on this album.

It's a great album. The only song I don't like is Dawn Patrol. If you like this I reccomend Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?. I just wish the band could have kept it going in this direction instead of the way they went with Countdown.This Message Edited On 10.14.05
