Even if it wasn't an intentional ripoff, it really does sound a LOT like Get Free.
One Step Closer. Interestingly, Noel Gallagher is specially thanked in the credits for this song, although he didn't play or write any of the song.
I read in an article that Bono was talking to Noel at a gig in Birmingham about Bono's father and Noel gave him the idea for the song.
Maddox hasn't been funny for about a year now.
I still find some of his new stuff humorous. Anyway, I can't say he was right because I haven't heard this CD.

My brother just got this and i love it

I just saw this at the site today. One of the best Maddoxes in a while, except for the manly suicide one.

What has happened to U2? This album is simply appalling, the lyrics are awful / meaningless and its just the same re-cycled crap, over and over again. What happended to songs like "Where The Streets Have No Name", when U2 had the world gasping for more. Now the band is bigger than the music, what a nightmare.

Maddox knows how to maintain his reputation. As well as his humor.
|
Well, considering nobody I know visits his site any more, his traffic has dipped noticably recently, and he's not funny any more, he quite clearly doesn't.
Besides, I hate that term 'humour'. It's just a term the media throws around to describe how funny something is. It's pathetic and it's stupid. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about.
I'm not sure if you're serious. I'm really hoping you're not.

Album Rating: 5.0
Great review, although I don't share your views on "A Man and a Woman". I personnally think it's one of their best songs, and I love the bass in it.

I believe he was joking with the 2nd part, the 1st part however, he is serious.
I think Maddox is still funny. I laughed my as.s off at his latest.

I got this about 3 weeks ago and I'd say your rating is fitting for the overall. I don't agree with all the song ratings, though.
|
| |
Seriously, it's almost exactly the same. Don't be a bumhead.
Really, there's an Offspring song that sounds even more like it. However I can't remember the title.
