It's a lot more raw/lo-fi than all of their other stuff. Not like super raw bm but for them it's pretty primitive sounding.
Prob my fav atmosphere on any Cradle album other than Dusk though. Every song that isn't an instrumental here is absolutely classic.

Is it less symphonic BM and more straight up trve kinda stuff?

Ehhhh I mean it's still very melodic but yeah there's no bombastic synths or anything like that. Try giving The Black Goddess Rises a listen bro and see what you think.
Make sure it's the version from this album though because they've redone it a few times.

Yeah they're still amazing, just a little more of a traditional bm rasp than his trademark high pitched banshee shrieks haha.

This is more gothic than symphonic. Less orchestra more keyboard tinkering.

Yep, the keys on this album are amazing. Could be a soundtrack for a Dracula movie or some shit.
Guess that could be said about Dusk as well though lol.

Oh, listen to them, the children of the night, what sweet music they make
I remember reading Bram Stoker's Dracula as an angsty teenager and discovering that this sentence was a direct quote. Dani has always incorporated all those influences.
