Do not start with Blue Sky Noise. Wtf, betray? Even if you think it's their best (it isn't) their journey there is important and fantastic.

Come on, man lol. I see thay 4.5 though so I won't talk shit. Juturna and On Letting Go will never be topped for me, though. I think listening to Circa chronologically is the best bet for a new listener.

Really surprised by the low scores this album got when it first came out.

Well over a decade and I still listen to this album every single day, nothing is ever going to beat this record imo

Aberf: It may not be their best work (that would be Blue Sky Noise), Juturna just holds a very special place in my heart. I can remember everything about the day when I first heard it, it just hit me really hard and it stuck. Now, from what I've heard of The Amulet, that's shaping up to be one of their best albums, but we all won't know until tomorrow ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Juturna has some of the best material out of Circa Survive for sure, one of them is "Stop the fucking Car" which also one of my all time favorite song.

I guess I'm having a low expectations for the newest album tho. I'm not sure if it's gonna be a great record.

When Violent Waves and Descensus came out, I just couldn't get into them. These days, I find myself liking a few more songs from those albums. But, to me, every single they've released for the new album so far, especially "Premoniton Of The Hex", has been really good and has gotten me excited for the release. Now I already know it won't compare to the first 3 albums, but it's the first time since Blue Sky Noise that I've been excited for a new Circa release.

But then again, the singles could be fire and the rest of the album could be meh, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

"Saosin: 1, Anthony Green: 0"

This is hilarious on so many levels.
