Reporting back.
I am thinking of writing a short blog post of the show if I can get a hold on a few nice pics and convince a staff to post it. But just some impressions from someone seeing them live for the first time after listening to them for 20 years+
- It was like seeing God standing in front of you, I felt powerless and ecstatic.
- Songs from Fires Within Fires were the lowest points of the show, people felt lost, except for A Shadow Memory, which was great.
- Which pales in comparison to the two tracks that played from Times of Grace, it's really difficult to put into words the sheer brutality and overwhelming feel of End of the Harvest and specially, The Last You'll Know, I felt the Earth was opening up, sky was burning and I was ascending to a superior plane of existence.
- Burn and An Offering went hard, specially Burn.
- Opened up with Give to the Rising's TT, my wig went off from minute one, bent my neck in the process.
- They closed with Through Silver's t/t, tribal drumming included, it was jaw dropping.
- And damn, they are old (and me too).
That's all for now.

saying that they're old after seeing them more than 30 times makes me feel damn old

After what I saw last night I can only imagine how it would have been to see them during the A Sun That Never Sets tour. I envy you to no end Wolfe.

It was all i imagined and more Dom, true legends. If smth, it made me want to revisit Fires Within Fires too, since I haven't heard it as much as the rest of the discog.
Man, I still get shivers rn remembering End of the Harvest, holy shit...

I started seeing them during TEOES and Given eras actually, cmon mane I was only 14 around 2004. I just took advantage of my car and my flight miles, still broke better than even all these years.
and yea they toured ASTNS
