I love this album. It does get a tad repeatitve at some points, but it is a solid farewell.

Love this album.

Most likely my favorite Immortal. Pure Holocaust or Blizzard Beasts are very close if not better.

EDIT: I forgot to mention great review as always Ben. This Message Edited On 06.13.06

This is my favorite Immortal album. I even brought my rating back up. The drumming on here is superb!

If you like this album I can't possibly see why you can't stand any other black metal cause though this is good, it's way down the latter compared to other black metal albums.

you have to give this at least a 4.5 for the amount of balls they had to make that goofy album cover

I find lately Shadows that Ive been picking up releases that have been reviewed by you. I just picked this up today and I find this album to be alot better than their 'so called' classic album Pure Holocaust, which was still pretty good. Excellent review once again!

Has anyone checked out I? Never got too but heard that Arve Isdal from Enslaved, and Immortal's singer was there. Sounds very promising.

Funny enough I downloaded I's song 'Between Two Worlds' only yesterday.
Pretty good, but I can't say for sure off one song.
You'd like them I think Balls, they're like semi-black metal, if you know what I mean.

Probaly going to order this online as usual. Gay, I have no special music stores. Time to move a bit north and west.

Come to New England, we got a ton of music stores with awesome selections. Hell, I even found 4 Burzum albums in a store! Of course, I bought three of them :D

My roots do not lie in warm weather and beaches, I lie in mountains and forests. I only have pieces of At The Heart Of Winter, wonder if this is better.

I live in Missouri it sucks but their is one local store called surf brothers that is great for metal music, they will even order stuff from other countries for you for the price they had to pay. Everybody where I live think their gangsters so normally all you find here is rap.
