To think that I discovered this band at the ripe age of 14

This album is the pinnacle of musical creativity. When they play their instruments, I'm like whoa. And then they yell at me like they're my foster parents or something. I get shaken to the very core. My bowels loosen up and I defecate myself. No other album has made me feel so miserably inept at functioning like a human being.

So I guess the vocalist got busted for a weed farm which has put their touring/writing on hold. I was wondering what happened when they got off hiatus.

I love this album so fucking much. One of my introductions to post-hardcore and screamo, ripe ol' age of 13 in 7th grade. Capeside Rock was on the Vans Warped Tour compilation album that year. Blew my mind. I wrote down the lyrics and gave them to a girl I had a crush on pretending I wrote them.
Still fucking love it. Take Her to the Music Store and The Switch are so good. Such hard nostalgia, brings me back to 03-04.

It was a classic the first few years. Idk if I would even like it now. Last couple listens a couple years ago turned me off

I'm with you 100% Thrust, I probably like this even more at 28 than I did at 13.

I thought this would all age pretty poorly, but it's still pretty good. I was never a huge fan, but I liked a few tracks here and there, and the final album a lot.
If he had the same vocal quality he had in the final album here, it'd be damn good.

final album doesn't have the lead vocalist on it, it's all the drummer
|
| |
Yeah, and the drummer's vox are the worst part of this band until that album.

This has always been their best to me. Probably their most dynamic album and the soft partsof this hit way too hard emotion.
Dont agree with Francis Marks vocals being the worst part of the band. Hes always been one of the best.
