subjective. this is death metal's archetypal document. raw, heavy, and deadly. the odd man out as far as Death's production is concerned.

leprosy is kinda similar bro both are gore dead metal extreme

ya but sbg is much more raw, leprosy has that thick distinct "morrisound". it was one of the first to coin that sound too. leprosy took the sound on this album and refined it, the band/chuck matured. similar to how autopsy matured from severed survival to mental funeral. severed and this have a lot in common, mental funeral and leprosy each ventured more down their own paths. all amazing albums. all other death albums except this one have very good, albeit outdated, production jobs. can't wait to hear the first 5 all remastered later this year.
