This albumn is great. The only thing I don't like were the vocals. He was pretty good but the songs Corey sings from this albumn are much better.

What would you classify this album as? I mean like, deeper than metal, Grindcore? not quite....It's definitely Grindcore/Thrash Influenced... What do you think?

If "Get This" isn't on MFKR, what slipknot album was it originally on, before 9.0 Live?

It is on the self titled album, if you have the special edition.

OK, the review is good and the album is.. Meh. I just don't like the growling. Some growling is cool, but I'm not into a whole song having all the lyrics being just growling, which is what happens way too often in every song.

For this being their first CD they did.. OK at best. I give them props for having the balls to experiment with stuff that jumped from heavy riffs to jazz. So an A for effort but an F for f***ing sucks.

I love Slipknot and most of the songs from this album aren't even worth having on my computer. The only reason I wish I could find the CD itself is because I want every CD and DVD they put out since they're the ONLY favorite band I've ever had.

But the band has changed so much since this album that it's almost like a totally different band, IMO.. Especially since they don't even have the original vocalist now-a-days.This Message Edited On 06.06.06

This was a much more hardcore band in my opinion. The new slipknot (Vol 3) is pathetic. At least in vocals and drumming. The guitar riffs are decent. The only other slipknot album that even compares to MFKR (once again in my opinion) is the self entitled one.
