Saw these guys in Orlando the day this album came out and what a friggin' show that was. I had never heard them before and they absolutely melted my face off - will never forget that show.

Sounds like a sick show m/
I only got to see these guys once and it was a festival set. Mayhem Fest 2010. They were by far my favorite side stage act that day. Followed by Hatebreed.

Still a great album, their last good one.

I like The Infection a good amount, maybe even more than this, but yea their sound changed after this album. Empire is such a badass song.

Empire SLAYS. I love the title track, too.

Main riff in the Flame is one of the nastiest beat-down riffs I've ever heard.
Wish the lyrics weren't ferociously fucking cringe, but that's chimaira for you.

lol yea The Flame lyrics definitely make me cringe but the riffs are actually sick..
I had a professor in college who used to play metal in the classroom before the class started. One time The Flame popped up on his playlist and the opener started with the girl screaming and I nearly died of second hand embarrassment

That intro was taken from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me. I'm fairly certain that's what the song is about actually. I love all the little horror references Mark slipped into their music lol
