Gates of Delirium is by far Yes's best song lyrically speaking

This is without doubt the WORST windbag album by YES. Children could probably reproduce their efforts on glockenspiels at school. Several tracks are nothing more than clashy mangled experimentation which do not work, they don't have any effect. There are no decent harmonies, no build ups, no decent riffs. It is a tedious album to get through. Emphasis on the genre here btw, it's called "prog-rock". It isn't called "prog-jazz". Total wank music, probably listened to by pretentious elitist virgin hipsters in coffee shops ooo'ing and ahh'ing at instrumental segments. Bad rock album, end of. Take my vinyl copy, please! I've had it since the 80s its collecting dust. How many sock puppet accounts do you have commending your own efforts too? An average piece of writing reminiscent of an amazon review.. C'mon... get real.

I'm totally serious. Cleaning my records last night, I gave this a listen. I couldn't believe just how SHIT this album is. I'm actually embarrassed I bought the record and that it sits alongside some decent neo-prog, contaminating it all with it's UTTER, UTTER utter shiteness! My god.

Well yeah actually, S/H market seems reasonable, I'll get more than I paid for it at least. Maybe someone here will buy it

The album sold millions, and still sells. Anybody who wants it already has it.

Not interested then? On vinyl? You could add it to your Bowie & Nik Kershaw collection.

Always great to swap single sentences, exchange ideas & thoughts on these kinds of boards. I wonder why they're less favourable than social media these days...
