This is seriously amazing. I foresee this becoming a 5/5 very soon.

I haven't gotten around to their s/t, but from the ones I do have (exodus, beale street and this), Blast Tyrant is the best. Love the songwriting and the catchiness.

Clutch's best album.

This is the one where I feel that they captured the perfect balance of bluesy swagger and pury rock fury.

S/T and Robot Hive/Exodus are close, but this one is of the highest quality.

Haven't checked out Strange Cousins yet, hope it's as good as their back catalog.

Album is 55 minutes of fucking rule. This is up there with Vulgar Display and Burn My Eyes for what I put on when I feel like getting my ass kicked.

^I've only heard this, self-titled and Strange Cousins, definitely like this the best of the three -- which one do you think I should go for next?

Check out From Beale Street to Oblivion and Robot Hive/Exodus. Those plus Blast Tyrant = top three Clutch albums. I actually don't like the S/T all that much as its way too high on stoner droning and low on face melting rock.

^agreed, I'm not a big fan of it at all. I love the funky, bluesy-ness of Strange Cousins from the West though. I'll check out those two you mentioned, thanks buddy

Lovin' this. Expected this to be a bit heavier but it's excellent nonetheless.

also Wysiwyg is super special awesome and is one of the chillest instrumental ever, not sure why the review says it drags on. It's perfect.
