Wither, wither, wither, wither, wither!
That part of Sleazoid is too damn funny. I'd probably go with Grief too.

How dare we not talk about the best lyric to ever grace a Diru song.
ONE DAY I WILL FUCK YOUR PARENTS

Still wonder why this album is so bitter and angry.

Yeah, I'm always asking myself if he just found the swearing from the American metal from their first US tour somehow exotic and wanted to bring a bit of that here, or something was genuinely pissing him off very hard at that point in his life.

Conceived Sorrow is a great opener, and then the rest is unbearable for most part, but for Rotting Root tho, it's a good one.

As if before Kyo's lyrics were optimistic and lovely...
But actually yeah, I think it was sort of part of the schtick. TMOB as a whole feels like Diru's application for the Western music scene, which is a fun little reversal 'cause of the obvious influence of western rock music on Japanese bands in general. But immideately after that they've churned out their most ambitious and poetic record, as soon as the ground was fertilized enough. And, sure enough, seeing as most of Western publications had their scopes on Diru after TMOB, when Uroboros hit the shelves - it got showered in deserved praise from most of the western heavy music media. Mission accomplished.

Of course they were not, but language aside, for the most part they had a different approach on previous records.

For anyone who's listened to this, watch Tour 08 to get the best possible experience from this album. Even bad tracks like Grief sound fucking amazing (and surprisingly Grief was my fav song from the show):

The show also marks the live debut of some Uroboros songs. Highly recommended and it also has an European edition, which makes it one of their easiest and cheapest to buy concert DVD's.

Ah, I still find this to be unbearable. Just like that "whoever escape plan" debut.

"Just like that "whoever escape plan" debut."
You trying to bait me? ;)
Tour 08 will forever be the best versions of these songs for the most part.
