Gave this a listen recently and honestly, this might be the best CoB album. I always considered this their weakest but it's fucking solid. The neoclassical shred on their older albums gets somewhat annoying and gimmicky after years of listening. This is fucking solid throughout. We're Not Gonna Fall is my favorite I think...but every track other than Punch Me I Bleed is a standout pretty much.

This album isn't bad, but I don't like this new direction that Bodom's taken. The vocals are so much worse and I miss the keyboards. Also the song structuring has taken a back seat here.
They're actually going backwards with this new direction.

I like alexi's vocals here more than any of there other albums, as I've said before, black metal shrieks are really not my thing. if he sung like this on albums like follow the reaper and hatebreeder, they'd probably be 5's in my mind, not 4's

I always forget how much I still enjoy CoB. They're just a blast to listen to.
We're Not Gonna Fall is the best song here no doubt, such an underrated track. I wish it were longer though. Same with Bastards of Bodom, the first half with the dualing melodic motif is fun but then they just kind of drop it and go nowhere.
