Eh, not a bad review, if not harsh. It's a solid pop debut, regardless of its lack of originality, and you didn't acknowledge it besides your annoyance with its percieved "safeness".

Also, "Do What You Do" isn't at all Stefani, it would be Britney, if anything, and yes, there is a big difference. I think you underrated "Open Toes," which, if any thing, is the only song a risk was taken on, which could end up being a successful single (And "Air Force One"? Pass the crack.) Besides that, the highlights are "Love Story" and "Everywhere I Go", you were right on there.

At first I was quite pleased with the result: some nice pop tracks, some nice ballad - an awful awful awful filler ("Do What You Do"). Though the album never grew on me as a whole. "Dangerous" is fantastic - without a doubt. And there's plenty other good pop stuff on this record, just like "Not Ur Girl" and "Each Other". But it's SO frustrating to see how flat the tracks end up if you listen to them over a couple weeks. The ballads soon become terrible and you soon wish that you can turn katharine's vocals off and just listen to the instrumentals of the upbeat tracks. It's sad, but the album is incredibly average - which is - in this case - rather negative.

"Dangerous" is awesome though! Great vocal performance!
