I still love this album so much. They were my favorite band in high school after releasing this but they went downhill quickly. None of their releases match the vocal "complexity" of this one and it hurt them because it was the main thing that made them stand out. The choruses to Pathetic, Ordinary and Three Last Letters are so damn good because of the vocal layering.



I listened to The Emptiness for the first time last week and it's a major drop from this and their first EP.

No way! The Emptiness still rules. Vocals, instrumentation, everything beats this imo. I'd spin that album any day. This... probably not again for another several years
