Yeah, this might actually be my favorite band of all time. Their first three records are hugely important to my life. Otherness is sweet too. OC/YC is probably their weakest album but still has some bangers

otherness is amazing agreed. the fact they are not a phxc band anymore is a v good thing. was always into this band to hear what each members sonic voice contributes and the style does not matter as long as the inspiration and hunger to move themselves forward is there

aof just became another poopgaze band that have zero songwriting chops in that department and no clue in what makes good gaze good

no sure why this is becoming a glorified trend in the recent years, but I'd rather just stick to the gaze classics than listen to whatever crap all these trendhoppers are churning out these days

lol gaze what? they are pulling way harder from stoner rock and psych rock aesthetics

the songwriting still rules

season of flood was aof at their most stoner rock

otherness is just drowning half-baked choruses in copypasted reverb pedal action

Otherness rules agreed. Could listen to Sans Soleil on repeat til I croak.

And hell yes onionbro :] band is just something special. This style of post hxc will never be replicated. They have it all. The energy, the hooks, the fun factor, the look, the stage presence/ability to crush live... I could go on about how much I love this band

otherness has some of their best chorus writing ever agreed

and sonically i j honestly dont hear it lol if anything season of the flood is much more reverb soaked and focused on ambience than anything on otherness except mistaken info. classic song tho one of their best
