Amazing album, and what a breath of fresh air. So nice to hear an album of four minute post-rock tracks instead 8+ minute ones.

Seeing these guys live tomorrow night at Echoplex in Los Angeles, and apparently they've been playing a ton of stuff off this album on the tour. I'm so excited. My body is ready.

They played so much great older stuff at the show; it was great. Played the title track, Fragile, Forever Lost, Suicide By Star (the double bass at the end was just as great live as I had anticipated), Echoes, a couple off the first album, and some newer ones. It was pretty cathartic.

Also didn't know that the last album was written literally as an epitaph in remembrance of one of their nieces (I believe they said niece), who had tragically passed recently.

If I ever made a cinematic masterpiece I'd choose the climax of that song for the most important moment.
