Returning the Screw is my personal favorite on this, but some of Guy's best stuff is on here too

"Poppy?" I feel that this is Fugazi at their most abrasive and cacophonous, which is probably why I like this album so goddamn much. It is interesting to read how other people interpret it, though.

Weird. I bought this yesterday along with Red Medicine having never listened to these guys. After one listen I'll certainly be throwing this into the stereo rotation.

As good as Red Medicine and Repeater. Smallpox Champion and Last Chance For a Slow Dance are in my top 10 fugazi tracks for sure.

Fugazi's worst album - only a handful of great songs (Public Witness Program and 23 Beats Off are highlights) but a lot of filler and it's far less distinct than the band's earlier or later output. It's got a similar sound to Red Medicine in some ways but RM is far more memorable.
Fugazi's worst is still "good" but with the exception of the Instrument soundtrack this is the one I listen to the least.

there's literally no filler on this. steady diet is their worst IMO
