If In Her Shadow was shorter this might have been a perfect album.

One track is keeping you from a 5? Why not 4.5 it?

The vox are awesome with the exception of Last Light so far.

This album is noticeably faster then Jane Doe, sort of like Axe to Fall except darker.

Silentpotato: yeah that one packs a punch too. My top three converge songs are you fail me, thaw, and wretched world.

Again I haven't listened to the whole album yet. Just making observations based on the first half of the disc. Seems

much more frantic then Jane Doe does to me idk.

Depends on what comes to mind, I guess. When I think Jane Doe, I think Fault and Fracture. When I think You Fail Me, I think the title track.

It's like when you're angry you go through cycles of being incredibly mad and angry and really depressed.

Bands that have variety are typically a lot better than bands who write the same song over and over.

The guitar work seems more riff based and less frantic strumming of random shit on this album too.

I think that's because Jane Doe has grindcore elements while this album pretty much has none.

Also, one less guitarist changed things up a lot - most importantly it let the bass and drums play a bigger role.

The ending to this album is so unsatisfying that it's good.
