OK I was wrong!!! I dismissed this band after listening to a track on a speed kills compilation album and thought they/he was pretty awfull. heard them on you tube c1990 hammer heart era and wow. really good. I also am into amon and opeth. definatly gonna download this stuff. (although the early pre 88 stuff still sucks)

A classic album, to me it is the master of puppets of Bathory.

My fave track would have to be for all those who died and the first 2.

This album is very good, but i thought that Bathory would be like the best Black Metal band ever and i was very excited to get this album and i dont really feel like it met my expectations.

This album jacks me up. It's pretty essential for any metal fan. A Fine Day To Die is beyond words.

To the reviewer: You DO know that not a single Viking actually wore a horned helmet, right?

Other than that, good review to a good album. I don't care, I like the trashy fillers also. But the title track stands out.

I have never been that big a fan of black metal, but I can't stop listening to this album. Any recommendations for a similar listen?

It's amazing at how little recognition or love Graveland recieves on sputnik.

This album inspires fierce rag and crush everyone in the way mentality for me, unless your talking about another album. This Message Edited On 10.25.08
