I don't have a problem with someone being romantic and sincere. In Mike's case, he is good at it, and it balances out the numerous times he can be so brutal towards himself.

Honestly my main draw to this album is Mike's lyrics and how brutally honest they are.

He has been working on new songs, with clips shared on his Youtube page. I'm not sure whether it's a new American Football or Owen project but it's certainly a new sonic direction. More likely Owen, I would say.

this is very nice. overdue listen. such a pleasant nice album. bad news is incredible. new one is decent but this is where it's at. and man mikes lyrics have really dropped in quality over the years.
