Sounds good, I'm on his first LP right now. I'll be checking his EP's too.

Does anyone know if his work with American Football is good, or his other projects?

American Football is amazing once you get past the amateurish sound and off-key vocals

I don't think there's anything amateur about American Football nor do I hear off key vocals. Check out

Mike's brother for off key vocals. Haha.

American Football is one of my favourite albums ever, and I've been putting listening to this off because I didn't like Cap'n Jazz and I was afraid of being disappointed.

This is amazing, it's like American Football meets Death Cab. It hasn't hit me as hard as AF yet, but this is definitely great. The arrangement after "don't wanna die alone" on the second song is amazing.

I mean I love it and it doesn't bother me anymore, but you can't deny that stuff.

I know, sooooo good! Him and his old Cap'n/Owls buddy Mr. Villarreal are probably my two biggest influences when it comes to playing guitar. I've learned most of the tracks on here, there's a few parts on I Do Percieve that are just criminally hard though

So much on this is absolutely sublime but ugh there's a few I hate like that femme fatale cover

I've never heard an acoustic played like it's played here. the intro to the Sad Waltzes of Pietro Crespi always amazes me.
