"This is better than WP in my opinion. DE is one of their worst to me because it had so many repetitive tracks including the title track and Rocket Skates. It just didn't seem to have much diversity, especially compared to SNW, and didn't really break any new grounds as expected. "

Calling DE diverse is hilarious because it's like their most homogenous album yet.

Ehhhhh.... self-titled was pretty "homogenous." More so than Diamond Eyes me thinks.

That's a fair assessment. DE would still be more homogenous than the rest of their discog. The point being that it's their least diverse album, and saying otherwise is hilarious.

@Hopelust - Yeah in a sense but it had wayyyy more standout tracks then DE in my opinion. Hexagram, Deathblow, Bloody Cape, Minerva, Moana, Battle Axe, and AOAUE are all great tracks. DE had some standouts as think Sextape, You've Seen The Butcher, Royal, and Risk are great tracks

Actually Adrenaline is their worst in my opinion, mainly because when they made that album they didn't really have a distinctive sound.

I agree with the first part. I think Royal, Risk, and 976-Evil were the only tracks that I liked enough from DE to keep in regular rotation

I like Adrenaline more than DE. It's fun and has more interesting moments. DE feels really slick, but just feels like Deftones on autopilot.
Like I've said before, the production and vocals are great on DE. However the songwriting just feels like they weren't trying.

deathblow, bloody cape, moana and battle axe are all the same song, and thats why I think it's more homogeneous than Diamond Eyes.

Exactly. It just sounds so raw compared to SNW.

Hexagram, Pins and needles, minerva and Anniversary are all great. I also like When Girls Telephone Boys or whatever. But aside from that, the album is pretty bland.

Those last two are my least favourite on the whole album.
DE does have some zzzz moments and they put me off the album for a long while, but there aren't really any other tracks like CMND/CTRL, Beauty School and Rocket Skates.

The ending of beauty school is fucking phenomenal. That section in itself could continue for a good couple minutes longer.

"CMND/CTRL, Beauty School and Rocket Skates."
Rocket Skates and CMND/CTRL bore the absolute shit out of me, and I like their heavy songs.
