Alright cool guys. Thanks.

So far, 'Warheart' is done. It's bad a*s. I love it.

Yeah, that's a phenomenal song and it's possibly my favorite off of the entire album. Silent Night, Bodom Night and Bed of Razors sure give it a run for its money though.

More than a solid album. I really see what you guys mean now by 'neo-classical moments'.

Favorites are 'Warheat' and 'Downfall'.

Downfall kicks ass. That was the last song they played when I saw them in Chicago, and these guys are excellent live. I really like Are You Dead Yet? more than the mainstream power metal stuff, but if shadowsfallen says this is good, then I might have to check the rest of the album out.

omg! nobody even mentioned the SONG Children Of Bodom!
listen to it very closely: It is by far the best and most geniously constructed song of the album...

So yeah, this album blows all of their other ones out of the water.

I disagree to the tenth power.

Follow the Reaper is a hair behind this. And I disagree with the quote up there that this is neoclassical shredding at its finest as well though this album still makes my all time top 10

FTR was basically a rerun of this album but with less awesome riffs . It's still a phenomenal album, though.

Girl, bye.

Follow the Reaper is so similar to Hatebreeder that it isn't even funny. Alexi's vocals are practically the same, there's still some good drumming (the new drumming is rather dull) and the shredding was very similar.

Except Hatebreeder did everything better.

Even though songs like Children of Decadence and Follow the Reaper own incredibly hard, they still can't compete with the likes of Warheart, Bed of Razors, and Downfall.

From what I remember his vocals on Hatebreeder were 10x more annoying.

I like Alexi's on newer albums as well...but I still think he's great here.

I like them. They sound like some pretty decent black metal-esque screams, and they're miles above his dumb vocals on Something Wild.

You deserve to be banned. Now I'm doubting if you even like metal.
