sick melodies for days and days and days

It's the ole Finnish riff-packing trick. How have you not heard of it?

The Blind Leader has a solo for like 50 seconds. It's absolutely ridiculous.

I prefer the debut, but all their first three are pretty incredible.

their songwriting is so smooth on here. I absolutely love the dueling keys and guitar leads in the title track and Principle Hero.

edit: yeah Evil In You will always be the quintessential Kalmah track. the second half is legendary.

I prefer Swampsong, but this record is really great, it's a great blend of thrash, power metal and melodeath

Band is so much better than CoB, always hated those comparisons

Kalmah is soooooooooooooooo much better than COB imo, it's really not even close. Early COB is good, but even that has shit lyrics and occasionally the cheese is just too much. Kalmah on the other hand is fucking incredible.

I actually prefer they do songs like Kill the idealist and The Third The Magical, their songwriting really stands out on them
