This is way better than PD, even though it's more deathcore. A rare paradox. I only really liked "legions of the serpent" off PD

this definitively has deathcore influences, which makes it easier to swallow then the constant tech riffs of PD

This is awful, deathcore or not.

Just sayin', Michael Keene is the lead guitarist and songwriter, not the rhythm guitarist. I don't really agree that this band is in any way enigmatic, especially on this album it's pretty standard death core with some more involved leads. Really, they fit right in with a lot of other bands into this niche of pseudo-technical deathcore.

Care to explain why its awful?

Boring, generic modern tech death. Enough said.

Is it even tech death? It's really just death core, not much more or less tech than it's peers. I think they are distinctive enough, but really this is not anything new.

Much more technical than your typical deathocre, but yeah, still deathcore. one of my fav deathcore albums though. and it's better than planetary duality, even though that one is pure tech death.

This is one of those albums where you actually wait for the chugs instead of wishing they were gone

Late on this, but ok you can call it deathcore/tech-death/whatever, but it's still boring and generic imo.
