Pisces is awesome, at times it's my favorite SP release

The Aeroplane Flies High is definitely worth a listen as well if you're into MCIS, though obv it's not quite as concise as PI

Set the Ray to Jerry is becoming one of my favorite Pumpkins songs, it's easily one of their most comforting and listenable. It's a sin it didn't make it on here

I've read stories about Corgan pushing for it, but i think ultimately it was between that one & Thru the Eyes of Ruby or something

in any case, i don't mind bands leaving good songs off their albums at all if they put them out in some other way

I don't know. Some say it's the 90's production making it so juicy.

Yup. Also

"All guitars on the album were tuned down a half-step in order to "make the music a little lower", according to Corgan. On some songs, like "Jellybelly", the first string was tuned down an additional whole step to C♯ (referred to by Corgan as "the 'grunge tuning'")." -Wikipedia

I just heard it 3 times in a row in some kind of nostalgic rapture. That bridge in 1979 - to the lights and the towns below - is goosebump central.

Corgan is a workaholic and that's why I respect him so much.

Not all of it sucks but none of it is nearly as good.

1979 is one of those songs that so perfectly captures the essence of the '90s and nothing like it will ever be made again. Which is sad, but I suppose that's how it has to be.
