"The guitar in Mellon Collie is crappy. And that's what made them so great. So..."

The guitar parts are still very memorable on this record, there's just a significant lack of insane solos on here compared to before. I wouldn't say that makes it weaker, just different

Usual deal with double albums. Over bloated, some sublime tracks - and some real duds. How i'd

personally track-list this for a better album experience:

1. Mellon collie and the infinate sadness

2. Tonight tonight

3. Where boys fear to tread

4. Bodies

5. Zero

6. Here is no why

7. Bullet with butterfly wings

8. To forgive

9. In the arms of sleep

10. 1979

11. Love

12. Thru the eyes of ruby

13. Galapogos

14. Muzzle

But that's just me

I can't put on either Siamese or this and listen to them all the way through. But i love the individual tracks for some reason. it's the track listing on their records
