Imagine "the world is a vampire" but with that typical 90s alt rock singing lol

“Imagine "the world is a vampire" but with that typical 90s alt rock singing lol”
Or bodies, tales of a scorched earth, XYU lol. Honestly Billy kills it on here especially the heavy songs

Now I'm thinking of Billy singing Soundgarden songs
That's not cool

Idk I love To Forgive but I can think of a few different 90’s singers that would’ve done that track better.
I feel that way about a few songs on this record.

weird this should appear on the feed today - i just relistened to it for the first time in years last night (bump from 3.5 to 4.0). harbored a newfound appreciation for the second disk that i never could muster in the past. still has a handful of throwaway/filler tracks but this is remarkably, almost unfathomably consistent considering it has 28 total songs.
fun fact: it was the first CD i ever owned. i was a huge SP fan in my pre-teen years. my dad went away for a few days on a work business trip and returned with the album for me.

Someone mentioned the word “filler” and I’m wondering if this record could be pared down to under an hour without getting rid of anything important. I think I enjoy more than an hours worth of these songs.

Jellybelly and Muzzle are my personal favorites

I also occasionally find myself yelling the chorus to "Bodies" across the house in my most obnoxious Corgan impression, complete with nasally tortured screaming

Jellybelly is p good actually, could throw that in before or after Zero

Here is No Why at #1 is interesting, I'll say that much. It's probably not even in my top 10 here, but it's all good

Also, not having XYU or By Starlight on that list is just plain wrong

Album Rating: 2.8
List is album sequence not ranking, XYU is a huge cringe that runs off C-grade metal impersonation and shit pacing, By Starlight is the kinda track you'd call an unexpected highlight if it was on a B-sides comp, and then forget about forever

ahhh i get it, her name is "mellon collie" like the word "melancholy"
