You’ve been through all of

F. Scott Fitzgerald’s books

You’re very well read

It’s well known

Because something is happening here but you don’t know what it is

hearing Another Self Portrait: The Bootleg Series Vol. 10 and it's pretty sweet. well worth a look for Dylan geeks, especially if you liked the vibe on John Wesley Harding and Nashville Skyline. also highly recommend Vols 1-3.

only heard it after Jamie's review the other week. there was a gap in my collection from John Wesley Harding to Blood On The Tracks, and then another from Desire until Tempest.

You’ve been with the professors

And they’ve all liked your looks

With great lawyers you have

Discussed lepers and crooks

i think desolation row is the best piece of songwriting ever, and it's quite funny too!

Yes, I received your letter yesterday

(About the time the doorknob broke)

When you asked how I was doing

Was that some kind of joke?

JWH is marginally better than Nashville - c'mon it has Frankie Lee and Judas Priest!

Don’t put on any airs

When you’re down on Rue Morgue Avenue

They got some hungry women there

And they really make a mess outta you
