This is definitely making a case for their best album, but I’d still put B/S (my favorite album of all time) and CFUTF above it, but I really could see this album usurp both those with enough time. This album really connects with where I’m at in life right now. Seems like every mwY album fits my life perfectly when it comes out.

I agree to an extent Sowing. This and Pale Horses connects more to me musically and where I’m at in life now, but BS and CFUTF are nostalgic as hell (oddly since I didn’t get into this band until a few years ago).

honestly, this has diminishing returns. i played it a lot when it first came out and now i don't really feel compelled to listen to it anymore. i'm apprehensive about its longevity

It'll probably work like all mewithoutYou albums. They're high adrenaline affairs, so the trip will get stale after you take the hit for days upon days in a row, so you'll give it a few months break after you get wrung out, and then you'll return to it sometime next spring, and it'll be just as awesome as the first time you've heard it.

I should bring everyone's attention to another high quality recording from the tour. Aaron's mic goes out during Red Cow, but the rest of the gig is magic. Some surprises in the setlist too.
